Dylan Aamodt

I was born in Fargo, ND but was raised in Yakima, WA.  I moved the PNW when I was 8 years old.  When I graduated High School in Yakima I moved to Bellevue to go to Bellevue College.  I continued on to Central WA University and finished up my Backelors and Masters degrees in Sociology at Lacrosse University.  I then went back to Bellevue College and completed my Chemical Dependency Certification.  That is what led me to Eastside Acdemy.   From 2005-2008 I worked for EA as a drug and alochol counselor running their recovery program.  During this time I was employed at EA I married my wife in 2007.  We were married in the “old chapel” before it was tore down to build the new upper campus at First Pres.  My wife and I both had entrepreneur dreams so we opened a car dealership (Eastlake Auto Brokers) in Kirkland in 2007.  In 2015 we founded our second company “Growing Reality”.  Gella, my wife, and I have one daughter who is 9 years old.  Her name is Lucy.  I am an avid sport fan.  I love all sports but my favorite are Basketball and Football.  I am a die hard Minnesota Vikings fan!!  In my free time I like to work out and spend hours on Lake Sammamish during the summer months enjoying the good life.  My heart is heavy for EA as I was the “at risk” teenager who needed a school like EA when I was growing up.  I am a living example of how the lord never gives up on anyone.  He walked with me through some dark times and now he celebrates the good times.  My life is truly blessed beyond imagination.  I am so thrilled to continue to give back to a school and mission like EA.  I have been a supporter of the school for 2 decades now.
